I thought I might start showing some of the books that I turn to every now and then when I need a little push or an idea to point me in the right direction. I think these books are titled "Super Manga Techniques".
They're all in moonspeak, but the ideas are conveyed well through the photos, and there's always something to glean from them. There are interviews and instruction with people like Otomo, Go Nagai, and Tezuka.
These are old books, like 1995, but a good addition to any aspiring mangaka's collection.
